2012 Sonoma Race Weekend Info & Discussion

Join in here and discuss all the weekend action for the 2012 Sonoma cup race. Robby Gordon will attempt to qualify the #7 Mapei Dodge into the field on Friday & will run the full race on Sunday. Gordon finished 18th at this track in 2011 & won the race in 2003. Here is the weekend schedule for RGM at the California track.

Robby's never gotten good fuel mileage on the road courses. His driving style doesn't allow for it.

I doubt that is the case.

The card sounds mean. Robby was super aggressive in qualifting, looked like he wasis ha inge a blast.

The weather has cleared and its sunny but windy.

I guess I am the only one left on the planet site who would like to see him in NASCAR. Don't get me wrong as I am all over SST and all his offroad ventures but I for one will miss him or someone driving one of his cars! Gave me a reason to watch NASCAR whether he is running 5th or 35th. Slag cup all you want but it is still a huge deal and it was good to see the last real independant slugging away. For me it is a sad day and not a happy one if it is his last cup race! Go get em Sunday.
