Permalink Reply by Taze on March 5, 2012 at 1:02pm I feel like such a heel for telling Robby "Good luck!" on a day he was doing a s&p. I knew I should have checked the Planet first. Oh well. It was an honor to get a good pic with him (the one I got a few years ago didn't turn out) and to shake his hand. And let's not overlook a free can of Fuel!

Permalink Reply by Bubba Gophast on March 5, 2012 at 1:52pm We had a great time at the race. Robby was great. hung with Richard Petty for a while. my wife got yelled at by other drivers wifes while we colleted autos on boxes of girl scout cookies.(see craigslist) it was a 56 hour bus ride up from Huatulco Mx. Robby ran hard and the car handled well from my POV. then he parked. Good move as there wasnt much drop out. Back to Mx tommorrow
Permalink Reply by FlyHiFlyLo on March 5, 2012 at 2:36pm RG needs to run a few full races even if he doesn't want to pay for it. Tires. he should just run lots of 2 tire stops. Fuel and Tires would be worth the extra cash from the 41st to 31st. And the extra points would be the same as 3 start and parks. 3 points a race would be a lame deal for sure. 2 4 tire stops and one 2 tire stop should be worth more than 3 points.... Plus the cash of 3 or 4 positions should cover it to a certain point.
