YAHOOOOOOOOO! My internet was down all day, everyone in my neiborhood was probably trying to get on Plant Robby at once. Missed chat everyone was probably on an emotional rollercoaster, but the racing Gods were smiling on RGM and the Planet . Congradulations Robby you came thru for us . Now Penske sell us a motor or we'll patronize U-Haul.

Robby tweeted to me "everything has a price right? I mean I like to stir the pot just a little." I think it was a great way to get attention to himself & Speed Energy! He's the master of marketing only surpassed by his driving!!

If anyone should sell their spot, it should be the 26 or the 30. And if he did wind up buying a spot, he'd have to run THAT car with that number and probably have Aaron's on the car. Look back at 1997 when Nemechek paid to run the #73 with Bellsouth sponsorship when his 42 didn't make it.

Watched it at work today while still trying to appear to be working (door closed). So happy for Robby and the team members. This is huge. What a gigantic jolt for the morale of the team. I bet they are pretty damn happy tonight. Can't emphasize what a boost this will be for the team. Great job!

Did anyone else catch Gene Nead talking to McDowell over the radio yesteday telling MM that he needs to save some fuel? Even MM said, "How can I do that? I am running wide open!" Imagine if he said that to Robby? That would have been funny with at least 2 "f" bombs.

I loved Gene and the "stiffy" mobile a few years back, but not so sure about that one.
