Does anyone know if the 2012 race will be shown in the USA? If so what channel and when?

some listing still have it as Versus.Versus was bought out by NBC . We covered this issue on the Planet about a month ago.

What we know is it will be broadcast on traditional TV here in the US in the wee smalls. It is available on various sites, streaming. See the links on the Dakar main page on this site.

I saw it is also on somewhere in the 4 to 5:30 pm eastern every day on Versus/NBC sports network.

speaking of TV did they just show Nasser drinking Red Bull as the coverage ended for the day right before the closing credits

I believe he is still sponsored by Red Bull...no SPEED decals on his Hummer.
