Join in here and discuss all the weekend action for the 2011 Las Vegas cup race. Robby Gordon will drive the #7 Terrible's/SPEED Energy Dodge. The team had a 32nd place finish last year at Vegas. Here is the weekend schedule for RGM at the Nevada track.

FRIDAY , MARCH 4th

 Practice             3:00pm - 4:30 pm/et   ( 37th Quickest )
 Qualifying           6:30pm - 8:00 pm/et   ( 38th Quickest )

Im thinking 5 laps in happy hour aint the best way to set up a car either.............but hey, according to TOG the race is on sunday. That worked out well.

the spin is the only tv time that Speed Energy got.... i'm wondering if it should say Speed Energy Drink on the car... do people really know what Speed is when they see the car ??? just a random thought...

I'm thinking most folks on here don't know how to run a multi-million dollar race team or start a new energy drink company. If uneducated opinions were the key to victory then RG would have been last years champion.

Your right........$hit does. But purposely not practicing to save the car for "Sunday" is not $hit happens. That is not preparing to the best of you ability. Do you see Tony or Jimmie parking their car to save it even when it a second off the pace????

You seem to get it. It's all about $$$$$.

I'm sure you are in no position to second guess the decisions made by the owner of the team unless you manage the team's budget and cash flow.

Is there something you know about the team's finances that you would like to share?

i agree... as someone who mostly reads post and doesnt post much, it seems like as soon as someone says the least thing negative, they are attacked ... were all RGM fans, just because were fustrated and vent a little, it shouldn't be taken as were "attacking" the team, why is it always taken that way... you can be a baseball/football fan and be down on your team for playing bad... but if you do it here, your treated like your not a real fan...

You two need to man up and grow some thick skin. You want to post negative things about a hard working team that competes against some of the world's best. Go for it. Just don't get your panties in an uproar when someone pushes back. For God's sake, If you are going to dish it out then at least you should be able to take it.

Make suggestions? Buying a Penske chassis is not a realistic suggestion. I bet 95% of the folks on here have never touched or setup a NASCAR Cup car.

Putting 'drink' after Speed Energy IS a suggestion.
