Worst track? have you ever been there???? so much goes on there where the camera isn't showing.... go to Pocono and watch all the excitement there then...

There will always be two sides to this 'debate', one will say Fontana sucks, the other will say it doesn't. Can't we all just agree to disagree ?

Sherri, I reject your reality and replace it with my own. Fontana the worst track? No. Pocono post gear rule. The "new and improved" Bristol. Any of the cookie cutters: Chicago, Kansas, Kentucky, etc.

My wish: Irwindale on a Saturday night. Old school hot summer night let the shit fly bumpin' and bangin' short track racing. What fan wouldn't like that?

Worst tracks in NASCAR are Kansas, Chicagoland, Las Vegas, Kentucky, Michigan, Fontana, Texas, and Charlotte are all tied for last place. Every other track is awesome.

I know Fontana isn't the worst track, it's just one of many that doesn't make for very exciting racing. I was told last year that "there are no boring races, only boring people" , well, I disagree with that as I'm not the only one who finds many races boring. A lot of the races are like watching dead flowers grow....

I'd love to see that short track racing , non stop action is a great cure for boredom.

I always say no boring races, just boring coverage. There is always something happening, but if it doesn't involve the network favorites, it gets missed.
When at the track with a scanner, you can get the big picture that TV doesn't offer.

I agree about the boring coverage , hearing about 3 or 4 drivers during a race causes me to tune out, which is why I find some races boring.

What happened in Q that made him start so deep in the field? Seemed OK during Practice 1.... he runs in the back he will get caught up in someone else's mess. I read the Q results from the bottom up....oh well.

Car was very loose, and he missed turn 3 bad compared to what most other drivers ran in that corner.

"In practice, we were pretty good with our SPEED Energy Dodge Charger. I think we were 17th. I just got a little bit loose coming off the corner and had to check up a bit which scrubbed way too much time off our lap. When you can't get through the corner, it just takes too much speed off the straightaway."
