2010 Baja on NBC TV this Sunday 12-19-10 ???

This year's Baja 1000 was tentatively scheduled to be shown on Sunday / 12-19 on NBC TV

at 12n PST / 3pm EST. NBC TV's online schedule continues to show "World of Adventure

Sports" subject to change with no particulars. Does anyone - TOG, NIKAL, 7gason7 - have

any updated info?

That was a waste of time.  I should have cleaned out my gutters instead of watching.

I suppose that for non-race oriented viewers it might have been educational, but I started to loose my patience when they mentioned "the second place car" for the third time without mentioneing who it was.  It was not until a crew member in one of the clips said " We're about (X number of minutes) ahead of Robby" before we heard who that car was.

 

All in all it seemed like their budget precluded the sort of coverage we are used to when it comes to the sort of coverage like we see for the Dakar.
