Did anyone else see where if Montoya switches to a chevy with the new Earnhardt-Ganassi Racing team he won't be allowed in the shootout? And next in line for Dodge, if he were to stay in a dodge would be Robby?! That will be interesting to see how that plays out!! :)

Ya but is that the old Jim Beam Ford or Chevy paint scheme he is in this week.
Hey, you gotta take 'em where you can get 'em. Lo siento, JPM!
The new shootout configuration is a mystery. Why didn't they leave it alone and let the pole winners and ex champs be in this thing. Now it's up to the manufacturers, and if they all crash and burn in this financial crises only the Toyota guys will be in the shootout. UGH. Joan
Well, they couldn't leave it alone because this year they gave away the "Coors Light" pole award (not the Bud Pole Award anymore). So, if you take all the pole winners from this year and throw them into a race, it pretty much can't be called the "Bud Shootout"....
I think there is a lot of drug use going on when the NASCAR Brain Trust meets.....
